4 Reasons to Hire Professional Stone Cleaners

If you have stone, granite, or concrete surfaces that are showing the effects of the weather, aging, or have been damaged, then you may be tempted to try and clean it yourself. The truth is that hiring the professionals is well worth the expense, for a number of reasons. Here are four reasons that Fuller Stone Care can do a better cleaning your stone than you can.

  1. We have the right equipment

  2. When you work with Fuller Stone Care, you can count on us to have the latest commercial grade steam pressure washing machines. They’ll give you the most extreme clean whether your property is residential or commercial. In fact, we have a huge range of machines available to us and can clean at different temperatures and pressures, depending on the type of stone you have.

Keep in mind that some of our machines have their own built-in generators. What does that mean for you? It means you can rely on us to offer full stone cleaning services at affordable prices and with a flexible schedule.

  3. We have the right chemicals

  4. In most cases, we’ll use our specially formulated “Natural Stone Cleaner and Conditioner.” It’s perfect for both routine maintenance, to keep your stone clean, and for deep cleaning jobs. There are also acidic, alkaloid, and other special cleaners for unique needs. Your job may require poultices or pastes to get rid of specific stains. No matter what the situation is, you can count on Fuller Stone Care.

  5. Have the right techniques

  6. In our years of experience within the stone care industry, we’ve learned how to clean everything from natural stone to concrete and pavers. We know what works best in California, and what will work best for those living on the beach, in the hills, and everywhere in between. Take this, our process for cleaning and sealing pavers, as an example:

    • Pressure cleaning the surface with a 3,300/lb pressure cleaner. This removes all dirt, weeds, sand, etc.
    • Re-sand the surface with fine silica sand after the area is dry and there’s no chance of rain.
    • Broom sand into the joints.
    • Blow off any excess sand that isn’t in the joints with a blower.
    • Use a pump to apply the sealer. This ensures it’s even.
    • Let it dry for at least 24 hours before allowing vehicular traffic through.
  7. It’s probably more affordable than you think

  8. Many people assume that professional stone cleaning is expensive but at Fuller Stone Care we work hard to keep our costs low and our quality high, to ensure that our customers can continue to come back to us decade after decade.
